Can you think of a time when you ignored someone in pain because it would have been awkward to ask them questions?

Can you think of a time when you ignored someone in pain because it would have been inconvenient for you to spend time with them?

Can you think of a time when you needed help and someone didn’t ignore you, but instead stood next to you in your situation and offered help? How did that feel?
Do you consider that feeling to be part of whatever help they gave you?

Besides the beaten man, do you think the innkeeper was ministered to by seeing the kindness of the Samaritan? Was there a time where someone else’s kindness or generosity towards someone who needed it inspired you?

What would it look like in your life today if you were to decide to minister to someone in need? Who is it? What can you do? (This is perfect question for you to ask your children if you’re working on these as a family!)
